How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the breaker and wait a few minutes before opening the outdoor unit.

  • Step 1 – Locate outdoor coil sensor: Inside the Royal Clima outdoor unit, find the sensor clipped to the condenser coil tubing.
  • Step 2 – Check attachment: Ensure the sensor is firmly clipped to the copper tube or fins.
  • Step 3 – Inspect cable and connector: Look for cuts, rodent damage, or loose connectors on the outdoor PCB.
  • Step 4 – Replace sensor if damaged: Use an original or compatible Royal Clima T3 sensor.

When to call a technician: If F3 remains after sensor replacement, the outdoor PCB may be faulty and should be replaced by a technician.
