Possible Causes
Dirty indoor filters and evaporator coil, Dirty outdoor condenser coil, Low refrigerant charge due to leak, Undersized Royal Clima unit for room size
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF power before cleaning coils or filters.
- Step 1 – Clean indoor filters and coil: Wash filters and gently clean the evaporator fins with a soft brush or coil cleaner.
- Step 2 – Clean outdoor condenser: Remove debris and wash fins from inside out with low-pressure water.
- Step 3 – Check temperature settings: Set the thermostat to 22–24°C in COOL mode and medium fan speed. Ensure doors and windows are closed.
- Step 4 – Check for heat sources: Reduce internal heat loads (sunlight, ovens, many people) that may exceed the unit’s capacity.
When to call a technician: If performance remains poor after cleaning and optimizing usage, a refrigerant leak or mechanical fault is likely and requires professional service.
