• Step 2 – Clear drain line: Use a wet/dry vacuum on the drain hose outlet to remove blockages. Flush with water if accessible.
• Step 3 – Check drain hose routing: Ensure the hose slopes continuously downward with no upward loops or kinks.
• Step 4 – Inspect drain pan: If accessible, check for cracks or misalignment under the evaporator coil.

When to call a technician: If leaks persist, the unit may need to be re-leveled or the drain pan/hose replaced.
