Safety first: Unplug the Sencor air conditioner from the mains before removing any covers. Wait at least 5 minutes for capacitors on the control board to discharge.

• Step 1 – Power reset: Disconnect power for 10 minutes, then plug back in. Try operating from both the remote and the front panel.
• Step 2 – Check remote basics: Replace the remote batteries, clean the IR window on the unit with a soft cloth, and ensure there is a clear line of sight within 5 m.
• Step 3 – Inspect display/IR board connections: Remove the front panel (usually a few screws under the filter cover). Locate the small display/IR board and verify its multi-pin connector is fully seated on both the board and the harness from the main PCB.
• Step 4 – Check for corrosion or damage: Look for burnt spots, corrosion, or broken solder joints on the display/IR board. If present, the board should be replaced.
• Step 5 – Inspect main PCB connectors: Access the side or rear electronics compartment, locate the main control PCB, and verify the harness going to the display/IR board is not pinched or damaged. Reseat the connector.
• Step 6 – Replace faulty board: If wiring is intact and E0 persists, replace the display/IR board first. If that does not resolve the issue, the main control PCB is likely defective and should be replaced by a qualified technician.
