Possible Causes
Full internal water tank, Blocked internal condensate pump (if equipped), Kinked drain hose, Faulty water level sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before draining or opening panels.
- Step 1 – Drain water: Open the lower drain plug and drain all water into a shallow pan. For models with an upper continuous drain, ensure the hose is not blocked.
- Step 2 – Check drain hose: Verify that the hose is not kinked or elevated above the recommended height.
- Step 3 – Inspect pump (if present): Remove the rear cover and locate the small condensate pump. Check for debris in the pump inlet and clean as needed.
- Step 4 – Test operation: After reassembly, run the unit and observe if P1 reappears. If so, the water level sensor or pump may be faulty.
- Step 5 – Replace sensor or pump: Install a new Sencor water level sensor or condensate pump as required.
