• Step 1 – Level the unit: Ensure the Sencor portable air conditioner is on a flat, level surface so water drains correctly.
• Step 2 – Drain completely: Open all drain ports and allow water to fully drain. Tilt slightly if necessary, but do not tip the unit excessively.
• Step 3 – Clean drain paths: Use a small brush or pipe cleaner to clear any sludge from drain outlets.
• Step 4 – Inspect overflow switch: Access the internal float or overflow switch and ensure it moves freely and is clean.
• Step 5 – Replace faulty switch: If P2 persists despite proper drainage, replace the overflow float switch.
