Possible Causes
Failed indoor DC fan motor with tachometer feedback, Obstructed blower wheel, Loose fan motor connector, Faulty indoor PCB fan driver
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power at the breaker.
- Step 1 – Clean and inspect blower: Remove front cover and filters. Clean dust from blower wheel and ensure nothing is blocking rotation.
- Step 2 – Check fan connector: Locate the indoor fan motor connector on the PCB and reseat it firmly.
- Step 3 – Test fan operation: Restore power and run in FAN mode. If the fan does not reach normal speed or is intermittent, the motor may be failing.
- Step 4 – Replace fan motor: Remove the blower assembly and install a new Senville indoor DC fan motor, transferring any brackets or mounts as needed.
- Step 5 – PCB check: If a new motor does not resolve F6, the indoor PCB may be defective.
