Possible Causes
Failed outdoor DC fan motor, Blocked fan blade, Loose fan motor connector, Faulty outdoor PCB fan driver
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Shut off power at the outdoor disconnect.
- Step 1 – Inspect fan blade: Check for debris, ice, or bent blades preventing rotation. Clear obstructions.
- Step 2 – Spin test: With power OFF, spin the fan blade by hand. It should move freely. If stiff, the motor bearings may be failing.
- Step 3 – Check wiring: Reseat the outdoor fan motor connector on the PCB and inspect for damage.
- Step 4 – Replace fan motor: If the motor hums, overheats, or does not start, replace it with a Senville-compatible outdoor DC fan motor.
- Step 5 – PCB driver: If a new motor does not fix F7, the outdoor PCB fan driver may be defective.
