Senville Thermal Expansion and Plastic Casing Noise

Indoor unit makes a clicking or popping noise when starting or stopping.

Possible Causes

Normal expansion/contraction of plastic housing, Louvers moving against obstructions, Loose decorative panel

Note: Light clicking or popping at start/stop is often normal.

Step 1 – Check louvers: Ensure no objects block the swing of the louvers and that they are not rubbing against the casing.
Step 2 – Tighten panel: Make sure the front panel is fully latched and not loose.
Step 3 – Monitor: If noises are loud or continuous, inspect for loose internal parts or contact a technician.
