How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before opening the control panel.
- Dry the panel: If the panel recently got wet, unplug the unit and allow it to dry completely for 24 hours before further testing.
- Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the control panel cover and check the flat ribbon cable connecting the keypad to the main board. Reseat both ends firmly.
- Check for corrosion: Look for green or white corrosion on connectors or traces. Light corrosion can sometimes be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol and a soft brush.
- Replace keypad or panel: If specific buttons never work or the membrane is cracked, replace the entire control panel or keypad assembly with a Soleus Air OEM part.
