Display shows LO and unit may not start cooling; sometimes appears when room is very cold.

Safety: No major disassembly is usually required.

• Verify room temperature: Use a separate thermometer to confirm actual room temperature. If the room is indeed very cold, allow it to warm before using cooling mode.
• Check for drafts: Ensure the ambient sensor (usually behind the front grille) is not directly in a cold draft from a window or door.
• Inspect sensor: If LO appears even in a warm room, inspect the room thermistor for damage or dislodging as described under E1. Replace if readings are out of spec.
