Possible Causes

Faulty fan motor, Blocked fan impeller, Loose fan connector, Faulty control board fan driver

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Isolate power before touching the fan or internal components.

  • Listen for fan operation: On a heat demand, you should hear the ACV fan start before ignition. If it is silent, note this for the technician.
  • Check flue and air intake: A severely blocked flue can overload the fan. Ensure the terminal is clear as described for E03.
  • Visual inspection: With the cover removed by a competent person, check that the fan connector is firmly plugged into the PCB and that no wires are loose.
  • Do not lubricate sealed fans: ACV boiler fans are sealed units; do not attempt to oil or dismantle them. If E07 persists, the fan assembly or PCB will likely need replacement by a professional.
