Possible Causes
Faulty DHW flow sensor, Stuck diverter valve in heating position, Blocked plate heat exchanger, Cold inlet filter blocked
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Water may be hot; use caution.
- Check tap flow: Ensure there is adequate cold water flow to the taps and through the boiler.
- Observe boiler response: When a hot tap is opened, the Beretta boiler should indicate DHW demand. If not, suspect the flow sensor.
- Technician – DHW flow sensor: Test and replace the DHW flow sensor/turbine if it does not signal flow.
- Diverter valve check: Inspect and free or replace the diverter valve if stuck in CH position.
- Descale plate heat exchanger: If the boiler fires but water remains cold, the plate heat exchanger may be blocked.
