Possible Causes

Faulty DHW NTC sensor, Loose or corroded NTC wiring harness, Scaled plate heat exchanger causing rapid temperature swings, Faulty PCB temperature processing circuit

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Isolate power before removing the boiler front cover. Water circuits may be hot.

  • Check DHW temperature setting: Ensure the hot water temperature is not set excessively high, which can exaggerate fluctuations.
  • Run hot water test: Open a hot tap fully and observe temperature stability. Note if A06 appears only at low or high flow rates.
  • Technician – inspect DHW NTC: Locate the DHW NTC sensor on the Beretta plate heat exchanger or DHW outlet. Check for secure connection and measure resistance. Replace if faulty.
  • Technician – descale plate heat exchanger: If hot water pulses between hot and cold, remove and chemically descale or replace the plate heat exchanger.
  • Check wiring harness: Inspect NTC wiring for damage or loose plugs at the PCB. Repair or replace harness as needed.
