One of the NTC sensors (flow or return) faulty, Sensors swapped or incorrectly connected, PCB misreading sensor inputs
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate power before accessing sensors.
- Technician – compare temperatures: With the boiler running, compare actual pipe temperatures with displayed values if available.
- Check sensor connections: Ensure flow and return NTCs are connected to the correct terminals on the Beretta PCB.
- Test sensors: Measure resistance of both NTCs at the same temperature; values should be similar. Replace any defective sensor.
- PCB replacement: If sensors and wiring are correct, replace the main PCB.
