How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate power before removing the front panel.
- Check for lock mode: Consult the Herz user manual to see if a child lock or panel lock is active and how to disable it.
- Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the front cover and check the flat cable between the display and main PCB for damage or loose connections.
- Dry moisture: If condensation is present, allow the panel to dry completely before re-energising.
- Replace UI module: If buttons remain unresponsive, replace the Herz display/keypad module.
