Boiler does not start at all, display blank or unresponsive

Safety first: Only check fuses and breakers if you are competent. Do not open the boiler’s sealed electrical compartments.

• Check mains supply: Verify that other electrical devices on the same circuit work. Check the consumer unit for tripped breakers.
• Inspect fused spur: If the boiler is connected via a fused spur, switch off, open the cover, and check/replace the fuse with the correct rating (typically 3A, but confirm in the manual).
• Check boiler switch: Ensure any on/off switch on the boiler or nearby is in the ON position.
• Professional repair: If power is present but the display remains dead, a Nibe technician should test and replace the Nibe power supply board or main PCB.
