Possible Causes

Clogged suction hose, Blocked floor nozzle, Full or incorrectly seated dirty water tank, Clogged motor protection filter

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the unit before checking for blockages.

  • 1. Empty and reseat dirty water tank: Remove the recovery tank, empty it, and ensure the lid and seals are correctly fitted. Reinstall firmly until it clicks into place.
  • 2. Check hose and nozzle: Detach the hose and floor nozzle. Look through them against the light and remove any obstructions (coins, toys, hair clumps). Use a straightened coat hanger carefully if needed.
  • 3. Clean filters: Remove the motor protection filter and exhaust filter. Clean or replace according to the manual. A blocked filter drastically reduces suction.
  • 4. Inspect gaskets and seals: Check the rubber seals around the tank and hose connections for damage or misalignment. Replace worn seals to restore airtightness.
  • 5. Test suction at inlet: With the hose removed, turn the unit on and feel suction at the main inlet (if safe per manual). If suction is strong here but weak at the nozzle, the issue is in the hose/nozzle assembly.
