Possible Causes
Blocked air intake or exhaust vents, Severely clogged motor filter, Continuous heavy use without breaks, Failing suction motor drawing excessive current
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch off and unplug the cleaner. Allow it to cool for at least 45–60 minutes before further use.
- 1. Check airflow paths: Inspect all air inlets and outlets on the body and floor head. Remove lint, dust, and pet hair using a soft brush or vacuum.
- 2. Clean or replace filters: Remove the pre-motor and exhaust filters (refer to the manual for locations). Tap them gently to remove loose dust. If washable, rinse under lukewarm water and let them dry completely (24 hours) before refitting. Replace filters that are damaged or heavily clogged.
- 3. Inspect hose and nozzle: Check for blockages in the suction hose, wand, and floor nozzle. Clear any obstructions that could restrict airflow.
- 4. Evaluate usage pattern: Avoid running the machine continuously for long periods on maximum setting. Give the unit short breaks during large cleaning jobs.
- 5. Motor health check: If E06 recurs quickly after cleaning filters and ensuring good airflow, the suction motor may be failing. Listen for unusual noises or burning smell. In that case, have the suction motor assembly replaced by a qualified technician.
