Possible Causes
Detergent tank not seated correctly, Faulty detergent tank microswitch, Blocked detergent outlet valve, Failed detergent flow sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and remove the detergent tank.
- 1. Reseat detergent tank: Refill the tank and ensure the cap and outlet valve are properly closed. Slide the tank firmly into its slot until you hear or feel a click. Some Beko models will show E07 if the tank is slightly misaligned.
- 2. Inspect outlet valve: Check the bottom valve of the detergent tank for dried detergent or debris. Clean with warm water and ensure the spring-loaded valve moves freely.
- 3. Check tank switch: Locate the detergent tank microswitch or magnetic reed switch on the body. Press it manually (with the unit unplugged) and listen for a click. If it does not actuate or is physically damaged, replace the switch.
- 4. Flow sensor cleaning: If your model uses a flow sensor in the detergent line, remove and flush it with warm water to remove any buildup. Reinstall carefully, ensuring correct flow direction.
- 5. Electrical test: Use a multimeter to verify continuity of the tank switch and wiring back to the PCB. Repair or replace any damaged harnesses.
