Possible Causes
Loose internal harness connector, Faulty secondary control board (e.g., brush module), Damaged communication bus on main PCB, Moisture ingress on connectors
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and ensure it is completely dry before opening (do not open if recently exposed to water spills).
- 1. Visual inspection: Remove the main housing panels to access the internal wiring. Look for signs of moisture, corrosion, or burnt components.
- 2. Reseat connectors: Disconnect and reconnect all multi-pin connectors between the main PCB and submodules (brush module, pump module, display board). Ensure each connector is fully seated.
- 3. Dry and clean: If you see moisture or light corrosion, gently clean contacts with isopropyl alcohol and allow them to dry fully before reassembly.
- 4. Module isolation: If possible, disconnect one submodule at a time and power on to see if E09 clears. This can help identify a faulty module that is pulling down the communication bus.
- 5. PCB replacement: If all modules and wiring appear fine but E09 remains, the main PCB may have an internal fault and should be replaced.
