Possible Causes

Supply voltage too low or too high, Faulty mains filter board, Loose mains connections inside unit, Defective voltage sensing circuit on PCB

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the appliance before opening. Do not operate the unit on an unstable or inappropriate power source.

  • 1. Check power source: Avoid using long extension leads or multi-way adapters. Plug directly into a properly grounded wall outlet.
  • 2. Test outlet voltage: If you have a multimeter and are competent, measure the outlet voltage. It should match the rating on the Beko rating plate (e.g., 220–240 V). If not, consult an electrician.
  • 3. Inspect mains filter board: Inside the unit, locate the mains filter / EMI board. Check for burnt components or loose terminals. Replace the board if damaged.
  • 4. Check internal connections: Tighten any loose spade connectors or screw terminals on the mains input path.
  • 5. PCB voltage sensing: If all hardware is sound but E15 persists on a known-good supply, the voltage sensing circuit on the main PCB may be faulty and the PCB should be replaced.
