• Check detergent ratio: Follow Dyson’s recommended dilution. Empty and refill the solution tank if over‑concentrated.
• Increase dry passes: After spraying, make several passes with suction only (no trigger) to remove excess solution.
• Clear recovery path: Ensure the suction nozzle and dirty water tank inlet are clear.
• Use approved detergent: Only use detergents recommended by Dyson to minimise foaming and residue.
