Safety first: Ensure the machine is on a stable surface before operating controls.

• Disable child lock: Press and hold the designated buttons (often power + mode) for 3–5 seconds as described in the user manual to toggle the lock.
• Check buttons: Press each control button several times to ensure they move freely and are not stuck in the depressed position.
• Power cycle: Turn off, unplug for 1 minute, then plug back in and try again.
• Service if unresolved: If E12 remains and controls are unresponsive, the user interface PCB or keypad membrane may be faulty and require replacement.
