How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug before accessing pump or pressure components.
- Bleed air from system:
- Fill solution tank fully.
- Run pump with trigger held continuously for 1–2 minutes to purge air.
- Inspect pressure switch:
- Locate the pressure switch on or near the pump.
- Check electrical connections and hose to the switch.
- Replace the pump pressure switch if it chatters or reads incorrectly.
- Check bypass valve:
- Some pumps have an internal bypass; if accessible, clean and ensure it moves freely.
- Replace pump if necessary:
- If cycling persists and pressure is unstable, replace the solution pump assembly.
