How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug before adjusting the tool.

  • Inspect glide strips:
    • Check the plastic or felt glide strips on the underside of the floor tool.
    • Replace worn glide strips.
  • Adjust squeegee height:
    • If adjustable, raise the squeegee slightly to reduce drag.
  • Open air relief (if fitted):
    • Some tools have a small vent; open it slightly to reduce suction on very thick carpets.
