No suction at all, motor runs loudly as if unloaded

Safety: Unplug before inspecting seals and tank fit.

• Check tank seating:
  • Refit the recovery tank, ensuring it is fully down and latched.
• Inspect seals:
  • Examine the rubber gasket between the tank and base.
  • Replace the tank-to-base seal if perished or missing.
• Verify hose connections:
  • Push the hose cuffs firmly into the machine and tool sockets until they click or seat fully.
• Inspect base inlet:
  • Look for cracks around the suction inlet moulding; if present, the base housing may need replacement.
