Water or foam being drawn into motor area (gurgling sound, moisture near motor)

Safety: Unplug immediately to prevent motor damage. Do not continue to run if water is entering the motor.

• Empty recovery tank:
  • Remove and empty the tank, especially if full of foam.
• Clean float assembly:
  • Ensure the float moves freely and seals when tank is full.
  • Replace the float assembly if damaged.
• Use defoamer:
  • Add a recommended defoaming agent to the recovery tank when cleaning carpets with existing shampoo.
• Check foam filter:
  • Ensure the foam filter above the tank is present and clean.
