Weak suction at floor tool, poor dirty water pickup from carpet

Safety: Unplug before clearing blockages.

• Empty and clean recovery tank:
  • Remove the recovery tank and empty dirty water.
  • Rinse the internal surfaces and the suction inlet.
• Clean recovery filter:
  • Remove the foam or mesh filter and wash under warm water.
  • Allow to dry fully before refitting.
• Check hose and wand:
  • Detach the suction hose from both ends.
  • Look through the hose; push a flexible rod or use another vacuum to clear any blockage.
  • Inspect the wand and floor tool channels for obstructions.
• Inspect float valve:
  • Ensure the float in the recovery tank moves freely and is not stuck in the closed position.
