Buttons on the control panel are hard to press or do not click properly, but the unit sometimes responds.

Safety first: Unplug before working on the control panel.

• Surface cleaning: Wipe around the buttons with a slightly damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not allow liquid to run into the panel.
• Inspect overlay: Check if the plastic overlay is lifting or warped, causing buttons to bind. Replace the overlay if deformed.
• Access UI PCB: Remove the control panel cover and inspect the tactile switches. If they feel mushy or fail to click, replace the UI PCB or individual switches if serviceable.
