Possible Causes
Clogged suction path, Full or incorrectly seated dirty water tank, Damaged tank lid gasket, Partially blocked internal filter
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug before removing tanks or covers.
- Empty and reseat dirty water tank: Ensure the tank is empty, lid is latched, and tank is fully inserted. Check the float valve is not stuck in the closed position.
- Clean filters: Remove and wash the recovery tank filter and any pre-motor filter. Allow to dry completely before reinstalling.
- Check for clogs: Detach the hose and floor nozzle. Inspect the suction inlet, hose, and nozzle for blockages. Use a flexible brush to clear debris.
- Inspect gaskets: Examine the tank lid gasket and nozzle-to-body seal for cracks or flattening. Replace if they no longer seal properly.
