Clean water leaks from underneath the machine when the tank is installed

Safety first: Unplug the machine and remove it from any electrical outlets before dealing with leaks.

• Remove and inspect tank: Take out the clean water tank and place it on a towel. Check the bottom valve and rubber seal for cracks, warping, or debris.
• Leak test tank: Fill the tank with water and set it on a flat surface away from the machine. If water drips from the valve area, the tank assembly is faulty and should be replaced.
• Clean valve area: Wipe the valve and surrounding plastic with a damp cloth to remove grit that may prevent sealing.
• Check tank seating: Reinstall the tank, ensuring it is pushed fully home so the valve engages correctly with the machine's inlet.
• Replace if cracked: If you see hairline cracks in the tank body or around the valve mount, replace the tank with a genuine VAX Platinum clean water tank.
