Possible Causes
Damaged or missing tank lid gasket, Cracked dirty water tank body, Overfilling beyond MAX line, Tank not latched correctly
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the machine and avoid contact with dirty water; wear gloves if necessary.
- Empty and rinse tank: Remove the dirty water tank, empty it, and rinse with clean water. Do not fill beyond the marked MAX line during use.
- Inspect lid gasket: Check the rubber gasket around the lid for tears, flattening, or missing sections. Clean it with a damp cloth and ensure it sits evenly in its groove.
- Check for cracks: Hold the tank up to a light source and look for hairline cracks, especially at corners and seams. Replace the tank if any cracks are found.
- Refit correctly: Reinstall the tank, making sure it clicks into place and the lid is fully closed and latched.
- Persistent leaks: If leaks continue with a good gasket and no cracks, the tank may be warped from heat or age and should be replaced.
