Foam building up excessively in the dirty water tank

Safety first: Unplug the machine before opening tanks.

• Reduce detergent: Empty and rinse the clean water tank. Refill with fresh water and the correct amount of VAX solution.
• Use defoamer: Add a small amount of VAX-approved defoamer to the dirty water tank if recommended by the manual.
• Rinse carpets: Run a rinse-only cycle (water only, no detergent) to remove excess shampoo from the carpet.
• Avoid household detergents: Do not use washing-up liquid, laundry detergent, or other non-approved cleaners.
