How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the machine before removing tanks.

Verify dosing: Follow the VAX Platinum manual for correct solution-to-water ratio. Use the marked fill lines on the tank.
Use approved solution: Only use VAX-approved carpet cleaning solution to avoid excessive foaming or poor cleaning.
Clean siphon tube: If your model has a separate solution compartment, remove and rinse the siphon tube and cap to clear blockages.
Auto-mix valve (advanced): On auto-mix models, a faulty valve can mis-meter solution. This requires internal access and may need replacement.
