Upholstery tool sprays but does not pick up dirty water

Safety first: Unplug the machine before attaching or detaching tools.

• Check hose suction: With the tool removed, test suction at the end of the hose. If strong, the issue is with the tool itself.
• Clean tool nozzle: Rinse the upholstery tool under warm water, clearing any lint or hair from the suction slot.
• Inspect for cracks: Look for splits or cracks in the clear plastic body of the tool. Replace if damaged.
• Ensure tight connection: Push the tool firmly onto the hose end until it locks. A loose fit will cause air leaks and poor pickup.
• Use correct technique: Press the tool firmly against the fabric and pull slowly to allow suction to remove water.
