Brush makes loud grinding or squealing noises during operation.

Safety: Unplug the cleaner and lay it on its side.

• Remove brush: Open the brush cover and take out the brush roller.
• Clean ends: Remove hair and fibers from the end caps and bearing areas.
• Inspect bearings: Spin the brush by hand. If it feels rough, noisy, or wobbly, replace the brush roller assembly (often supplied as a complete Vorwerk part).
• Reassemble: Install the new or cleaned brush and test. Persistent noise may indicate a failing brush motor.
