Safety: Disconnect from mains before manipulating tank latches or switches.

• Reseat tanks: Remove both tanks and reinstall them firmly until you hear or feel a click. Ensure no fabric or debris is trapped under the tanks.
• Inspect tank latches: Check that the plastic latches and tabs on the tanks are intact and not bent or broken. Damaged tanks may not actuate the internal switch.
• Check interlock switch: Locate the tank presence switch (usually near the tank seating area). Press it gently with a non-metallic tool to confirm it moves freely.
• Electrical test (advanced): A technician can test the switch for continuity when pressed. Replace the switch if it does not change state.
