Strong musty or moldy smell from the carpet cleaner during use.

Safety: Unplug the unit and wear gloves if mold is visible.

• Deep clean tanks: Wash clean and recovery tanks with warm water and mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry completely.
• Flush system: Run a tank of clean water with a small amount of approved sanitizer through the spray and recovery system, then flush with plain water.
• Drying: After use, always empty tanks and run the suction for a short time to dry internal passages. Store the unit with tanks removed and covers open to air dry.
• Replace filters: If filters smell musty, replace them with new Vorwerk filters.
