Carpet cleaner leaves black or dark marks on carpet after passing over

Safety: Unplug before cleaning components.

• Clean brush bar: Remove the Zanussi brush and wash thoroughly with warm soapy water. Allow to dry completely before refitting.
• Clean wheels and nozzle: Wipe wheels and nozzle lips with a damp cloth to remove grease or dirt.
• Check exhaust filter: If black dust is visible near the exhaust, replace the exhaust/HEPA filter and inspect the motor for excessive brush wear.
• Test on scrap carpet: After cleaning, test on an inconspicuous area to confirm no further marking.
