Zanussi
Loss of Recovery Suction / Bypass Leak
Dirty water tank does not fill even though carpets are visibly wet

Possible Causes
Loose or missing recovery tank lid, Cracked recovery tank, Air leak at hose connection, Blocked inlet at floor nozzle
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug before inspecting tanks and hoses.
- Check tank fit: Ensure the Zanussi dirty water tank and lid are correctly installed and latched. An unsealed lid will prevent water from being drawn in.
- Inspect tank for cracks: Fill with a small amount of water and tilt to see if it leaks. Replace if cracked.
- Check hose connections: Verify that the recovery hose from the nozzle to the tank is firmly attached and not split.
- Clear nozzle inlet: Remove the floor head and clean the suction inlet where water enters. Blockages here will stop water reaching the tank.
