Possible Causes
Mis-seated clean water tank, Faulty tank micro-switch, Defective magnetic float or reed sensor, Broken tank latch not engaging sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the unit before inspecting sensors.
- Reseat the tank: Remove the Zanussi clean water/detergent tank and refit it firmly until it clicks. Ensure the bottom valve is not obstructed.
- Inspect tank lugs and latch: Check the plastic tabs that engage the body sensor. If broken or worn, the sensor may not detect the tank; replace the tank if necessary.
- Check level float: If the tank has an internal float, verify it moves freely and is not stuck with scale or detergent residue. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
- Test tank switch or reed sensor: Access the tank sensor area in the base. For a micro-switch, test continuity when the tank is pressed into place. For a reed sensor, move a magnet near it and check for switching. Replace the faulty sensor.
- Clear error: After repair, power the unit back on and confirm the E07 code is cleared and solution dispenses normally.
