Possible Causes

Faulty temperature sensor (NTC) on motor or heater, Damaged wiring to sensor, Control PCB misreading sensor values, Corroded sensor connector

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Disconnect from mains before accessing internal components.

  • Locate sensor: Identify the NTC or temperature sensor on the motor housing or heater block in your Zanussi model.
  • Inspect wiring: Check the harness from the sensor to the main PCB for cuts, pinches, or loose connectors. Reseat connectors and clean with contact cleaner.
  • Test sensor: Use a multimeter to measure resistance at room temperature and compare with service data if available. A shorted or open sensor must be replaced.
  • Replace sensor or PCB: If the sensor tests faulty, replace it. If the sensor is good but E15 persists, the main control PCB may be misreading and should be replaced.
  • Reset: After replacement, power on and check if the error clears automatically or after a power-cycle.
