How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the coffee maker and allow it to cool completely before inspection.
External checks:
- Check water tank outlet: Remove the tank and inspect the outlet valve for debris. Rinse thoroughly and press the valve with a clean tool to ensure water flows freely.
- Descale the machine: Run a full descaling cycle using a Beko-approved descaling agent according to the user manual. This can clear minor blockages in the hydraulic circuit.
Internal checks (advanced):
- Remove the top cover and locate the flowmeter (usually a small round plastic component in-line between the tank and pump with two or three wires).
- Inspect the inlet and outlet of the flowmeter for scale or debris; disconnect hoses (note orientation) and flush with warm water.
- Check that the rotor inside the flowmeter spins freely when you blow gently through it.
- Verify that the wiring harness from the flowmeter to the main PCB is firmly connected and not damaged.
If cleaning does not resolve the issue and E02 persists, the flowmeter or associated wiring is likely faulty and should be replaced. For PCB diagnosis, seek professional service.
