Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect from mains and let the boiler/thermoblock cool before opening the unit.
Basic checks:
- Prime the system: Fill the water tank fully, reinstall, and run a hot water or rinse cycle several times. Sometimes an airlock can be cleared this way.
- Descale: If water flow is weak or intermittent, run a descaling cycle to clear scale from the pump and hydraulic circuit.
Internal checks (advanced):
- Remove the rear or top cover to access the vibration pump (commonly an ULKA pump in Beko machines).
- Inspect the silicone hoses for kinks or blockages and ensure hose clamps are tight.
- Check the pump coil connectors for secure fit and signs of overheating or burning.
- With the unit unplugged, measure the pump coil resistance with a multimeter and compare to the specification in the service manual (typically tens of ohms). An open circuit indicates a failed pump.
Replace the pump if it is electrically open or mechanically seized. If you are not trained to work on mains-voltage components, contact a professional technician.
