Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the coffee maker and allow at least 30 minutes for internal components to cool before opening.
Checks:
- Remove the top cover to access the thermoblock or boiler.
- Locate the NTC temperature sensor (usually a small probe or sensor clipped or screwed to the thermoblock with two wires).
- Ensure the sensor is firmly attached to the thermoblock and that its connector on the PCB is fully seated.
- Inspect the wiring for cuts, burns, or pinched sections.
- With the unit unplugged, measure the resistance of the NTC at room temperature and compare with Beko specifications (commonly 50–100 kΩ at 25°C). Infinite or near-zero resistance indicates a faulty sensor.
Replace the NTC sensor if readings are out of range. If the sensor and wiring are good, the main control board may be faulty and should be evaluated by a service technician.
