Possible Causes

Failed steam thermostat or NTC, Blocked steam nozzle with milk residue, Faulty steam solenoid valve, Scale buildup in steam circuit

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the machine and allow all steam pressure to dissipate before working on the steam system.

External cleaning:

  • Remove and clean the steam wand or milk frother thoroughly. Soak removable parts in warm water with a milk system cleaner.
  • Use a pin to clear any blockage in the steam tip.
  • Run a steam cleaning cycle if your Beko model supports it.

Descale:

  • Run a full descaling cycle focusing on the steam circuit as described in the user manual.

Internal checks (advanced):

  • Access the steam thermostat/NTC on the steam boiler or thermoblock and check for secure mounting and wiring.
  • Test the thermostat or NTC with a multimeter for continuity or correct resistance.
  • Check the steam solenoid valve for clicking sound when activated and for blockages in its ports.

Replace the steam thermostat/NTC or solenoid valve if defective. For boiler replacement or PCB-level faults, consult a professional technician.
