How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off and unplug the machine before working near the grinder.
Hopper and chute:
- Remove all beans from the hopper.
- Clean the hopper and bean chute thoroughly to remove oils and dust.
- Check for any foreign objects blocking the chute.
Sensor checks:
- If your model uses a magnetic lid sensor, ensure the magnet is present in the lid and the reed switch inside the machine is clean and undamaged.
- If an optical sensor is used, gently clean the sensor window with a dry cloth.
Reassemble and test. If the sensor still fails to detect beans or lid status, the sensor or hopper assembly may need replacement.
