Possible Causes
Low water level in reservoir, Air trapped in pump or tubing, Scale restricting flow, Loose internal mounting of pump
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the coffee maker before moving or tilting it.
- Fill reservoir fully: Ensure the water reservoir is filled to the maximum line and properly seated.
- Prime the system: With the unit unplugged, gently rock it front-to-back and side-to-side to help dislodge air bubbles in the tubing. Plug back in and run a water-only cycle.
- Descale: If noises persist, run a full descale cycle to remove scale that can cause uneven boiling and gurgling.
- Check for vibration: Make sure the coffee maker is on a stable, level surface. Place a thin rubber mat under the unit to reduce transmitted vibration.
- If noise is metallic or grinding: The pump or internal mounts may be failing and should be inspected by a technician.
