Display shows a descaling or clean indicator and it will not clear after cleaning.

Safety first: Allow the unit to cool before running extended cleaning cycles.

• Run full descale cycle: Follow the Calphalon manual to start and complete the entire descale program without interruption.
• Use correct solution: Use white vinegar or a recommended descaling solution at the proper dilution so the flow meter sees enough flow.
• Rinse cycles: After descaling, run at least 2 full reservoirs of fresh water.
• Power reset: Unplug the coffee maker for 5–10 minutes, then plug back in. In some models, this clears the clean indicator.
• If indicator remains on: The flow meter or control board may not be registering the descale volume correctly and may need service.
